Libidex debuts 160 styles in new Mademoiselle Collection
The new Mademoiselle Collection from Libidex comprises 160 new latex styles for women, and will be the first of several new collections to be launched by the company over the next year or so. Here, we take a close look at some of the hottest new pieces
Well-known London latex label Libidex has just launched its Mademoiselle collection — a brand new range of latex clothing offering over 160 new styles for women.
This is the first major new collection from Libidex since its acclaimed Libidex-Man and Love Lingerie ranges. According to Libidex owner and head designer Simon Rose, it heralds the start of a series of new collections to be launched by the company over the next year or so.
The Mademoiselle Collection offers over 160 new designs in latex clothing for women — the biggest range Libidex has ever launched at one time — and expands the choice available at thge label to nearly a thousand different designs — one of the largest offerings of any latex clothing maker.
Commenting on the new collection, Simon says: “These new designs develop some of the ideas in the existing Libidex collection, but introduce lots of new styles such as boleros, robes, capes, peplum skirts and jackets, which join the Libidex range for the first time.
‘Many Mademoiselle items are designed to complement each other and create whole new outfits, like the Aurora Maid Set, when combined’
“As with everything we do, we want this collection to be exciting, sexy and stylish, as well as eminently wearable and affordable. So we’ve come up with designs that work well in the club, in the bedroom, or even on the street, and give classic looks a cheeky latex twist.
“I’m sure this collection will have great appeal to latex aficionados and newcomers to the scene alike.”
Our gallery, right, shows a representative selection from the 160 new garments on offer under the Mademoiselle tag. Below, you can read the full descriptions of these gallery styles provided by Libidex to entice you to part with your cash!
GALLERY IMAGES: HOW THE DESIGNER DESCRIBES THEM
Amazon Swimsuit £99.95 and Boulevard Peplum Skirt £79.95
“An unusual take on a classic design, the Amazon Swimsuit is a real head-turner with its off-the-shoulder look. Figure-hugging and flattering, it shows off the body line to best advantage. No zip — step-in, step-out! Goes well with the Boulevard Peplum Skirt, a saucy number that’s open at the front and can transform a simple swimsuit into a very stylish outfit!”
Amelie Waistcoat £74.95
“Women’s waistcoats are new to the Libidex range, and the Amelie Waistcoat is a stunner. It features a v-neckline and armholes trimmed in a contrasting colour, with a cincher buckle at the back, also in a contrasting colour. Fastened at the front with five press studs, it makes a great combination with skirts and trousers, creating a complete outfit.
Antoinette Riding Jacket £239.95
“The Mademoiselle Collection contains a good selection of latex jackets that can quite easily be worn out in the street! With a highly fashionable and sophisticated cut, the Antoinette Riding Jacket has a double-breasted front fastened with three press studs, and a collar with a high break offering full coverage. The collar is in a contrasting colour as are the godets inserted into the peplum to give it an extravagant style. Complete with shoulder pads, it’s made from thicker 0.80mm latex, which is doubled on the collar.” (Seen here in metallic pewter with metallic red trim, and black with no trim.)
Aurora Maid Set £229.95
“Many items in the Mademoiselle Collection have been designed to complement each other and create whole new outfits when combined. This Aurora Maid Set is a good example — a complete outfit that includes Valerie Bolero, Aurora Peplum Skirt, Corona Bra and Briefs and Classic Stockings.” Available separately, prices are: Valerie Bolero £99.95; Aurora Peplum Skirt £99.95; Corona Bra £79.95; Briefs £19.95; Stockings: £69.95
Cherie Waistcoat £74.95 and Pencil Skirt £89.95
“Simply cut, with a halter neck finished in a contrasting colour, the Cherie Waistcoat has a cincher buckle at the back and fastens with five press studs down the front, which is decorated with two pocket flaps. It matches perfectly with a Libidex classic — the Pencil Skirt — to create a very attractive outfit.
Coco Waistcoat £109.95 and Matrix Leggings £89.95
“The Coco Waistcoat has a halter neck and features a cincher belt in contrasting colour at the back with split sharp-cut tails. At the front, it’s fastened with five press studs, and has two decorative pocket flaps. Shown here with Libidex Matrix Leggings, which together create a simple but attractive outfit.”
Coco Waistcoat £109.95 and Matrix Leggings £89.95
“The Coco Waistcoat has a halter neck and features a cincher belt in contrasting colour at the back with split sharp-cut tails. Emmanuelle Cocktail Jacket £249.95
“With its wide, generously trimmed collar, sharply cut double peplum and pointed cuffs, the Emmanuelle Cocktail Jacket cuts a dash as much at the races as at the bar! It’s fastened at the front with two buttons. Looks great with Leggings, Skirts and especially Stockings and Suspender Belts. Complete with shoulder pads, it’s made from thicker 0.80mm latex.” (Seen here in plum with black trim.)
Florence Nurse Dress £129.95
“Perfect for the fetish fantasist, this pert little Nurse’s Dress demonstrates how clean lines and a very simple cut can still be very sexy and alluring. It has a non-adjustable halter neck and is fastened at the back with a full-length zip.” (Shown here in red with white trim and motif.)
Harlem Biker Jacket £219.95
“A sexy latex version of a traditional full-length biker jacket in thicker 0.80mm latex, the Harlem Biker Jacket comes with a full-length off-centre metal zip, zips on the cuffs, and decorative zips on the sides (no pockets). Most of the front is double-thickness, as is the waist and the yoke. It fastens at the neck with press studs.”
Marilyn Robe £199.95
“Perfect for the dressing room, this light and slinky robe made from gossamer-thin 0.25mm latex has a faced collar and stole running the full length of the front, and faced cuffs, folded back and held in place. It ties together with a separate belt passing through belt-loops.” (Shown here in translucent pink.)
Playgirl Tailcoat £209.95 and Lady Jacket £239.95
“The Playgirl Tailcoat (shown left) is a flamboyant piece that’s more than a bit revealing. It features a high-cut waist, gathered and fastened with a single clasp, with double tails at the back. It has a wide collar with a plunging neckline, and is made from thicker 0.80mm latex. The Lady Jacket (right) is a well-tailored, double breasted riding jacket with extravagantly ruched shoulders, very flattering to the figure with a flared waist and full, pleated peplum. The front is fully faced from neck to bottom hem, and the jacket fastens at the front with six buttons. Looks great with leggings, skirts and especially stockings and suspender belts.” (Shown here with Frisson Stockings.)
Valerie Bolero £99.95 and Chevron Skating Skirt £69.95
“The Mademoiselle Collection introduces the Bolero to the Libidex range of styles, with quite a few different designs to choose from. The Valerie Bolero is a traditionally styled bolero with puff-sleeves and a round collar fastened with three press studs. It goes well with any number of garment combinations to make a great outfit and is shown here with the Chevron Skating Skirt, a playful, slip-on number — reminiscent of school days, cheerleading and the ice rink! The Chevron Skating Skirt features a V motif on the waistband and comes with trim in a contrasting colour.”

Libidex is one of the oldest-established fashion labels on the latex clothing scene, and is one of the largest producers of latex fashion garments in the world.
Founded in the UK in 1992, the label was bought in 1998 by designer Simon Rose and his colleague Nigel Walker, who reformed the company as Libidex Ltd. It now employs some 50 staff in the UK and Malaysia, and is at the forefront of innovation and design in the latex world.
It was one of the first companies to offer an off-the-peg (as opposed to made-to-order) range of latex clothing with its LatexExpress collection, and also established its own manufacturer and distributor of fashion-grade latex sheeting, Radical Rubber, in 2007.
Libidex has designed or made garments for many celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Eminem, Emma Bunton, Caprice, Antonia Sancha, Julian Clary, Oasis, Paula Hamilton and Rachel Weisz, and has worked with fashion houses such as Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana and the late Alexander McQueen.
The company has become famous not just for its high fetish style but also for its frequent sales, which are awaited eagerly by rubber enthusiasts around the world looking for top quality latex at generous discounts.
The company maintains UK headquarters in London’s Bloomsbury district, and its Liberation shop in Covent Garden is London’s most central bricks-and-mortar retailer of latex clothing and fetish accessories.
