Pearl Necklace Covid changes: earlier starts and Sat/Sun dates.
If you thought Torture Garden’s Pearl Necklace debut this week would be scuppered by the UK Government’s newly-imposed 10pm closing time, you were wrong!
Determined not to have its new supper club nights stopped before they had even begun, TG has brought forward Pearl Necklace start times and arrival windows for this week’s two events so it can still go ahead but finish in time for the new cut-off.
This week’s two Pearl Necklace events will still take place tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday, and ticketholders should already have received details of the revised timings.
For future months, though, Pearl Necklace Covid changes will see the events moved to Saturdays and Sundays, when it is hoped the earlier start times will be less problematic for people who have jobs during the week.
For these future dates, Torture Garden will put tickets on sale on a week-by-week basis ‘until we’re a bit more certain of how long these restrictions will be in place’.
Tickets for the rescheduled October 3 and 4 editions of the Pearl Necklace will go on sale on Monday September 28.
Note that as a consequences of TG’s Pearl Necklace Covid changes, the original dresscode order of each event pair will be reversed. The full fetish dresscode nights now come first, on Saturdays, and the cabaret/fetish dresscode nights are on Sundays.
In other news, since publication of our original Pearl Necklace article (link below), TG has announced more resident performers.
Now heading the roster of ‘fabulous freaks’ will be Ms Lolo Brow, who promises to keep the house in strict order. TG guarantees that she will ‘wield her drill like no other’, and that you’ll ‘have hell to pay if you step out of line’!
Seen in our banner above, performer The Widow Bouquett, apparently overcome with grief, has been forced to seek refuge in the bowels of Electrowerkz after the sudden and unexplained death of her wealthy husband.
We’re assured that she’ll ‘dazzle her audiences with her hypnotic beauty’. But guests are advised to ‘hold tightly to their partners lest she lure them away to a similar fate’. You have been warned.
