INDUSTRY SUBMISSIONS

The Fetishistas is keen to provide a showcase for the best short videos with fetish-related content. We have created a new dedicated video section on the site, and we invite everyone with video content that they think meets our standards to submit their work for potential inclusion.

Every video that we accept for showcasing will be embedded in its own page on our site. This dedicated page will also carry a short descriptive text and a list of production credits and links, to maximise reciprocal promotional benefit.

The cream of the crop will also be featured in the video slot on The Fetishistas home page.

VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Important: submission procedure

There is a two-stage procedure to get a video accepted for inclusion in The Fetishistas’ video section.

Stage 1: Read the guidelines below. If you believe your video will meet our requirements, we want to see it ASAP, so please use the Video Submission Form below to provide your name, e-mail address and a short message if you wish, along with a URL where the video is hosted and can be viewed by us (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo).

Stage 2:

If after viewing we wish to accept your video for inclusion in The Fetishistas’ video section, we will send you a password for the separate Video Licensing Form which MUST be completed by the submitter for each video accepted by us.

Aesthetic considerations

1. ‘Fetish-related content’ is an intentionally broad category that can include anything from a highly-stylised fetish fashion vignette to a studio or live performance, from a music video-style piece to a narrative or documentary item. Of course we really, really love latex, but not to the exclusion of other visually stimulating fetishes!
2. Creativity, artistic merit and technical quality are all very important. We don’t expect big budget productions but we want to focus on work that has more talent in evidence than merely the ability to point a camera at someone wearing a rubber catsuit.
3. We want cool, we want stylish, we want glamorous, we want erotic… but we don’t want porn. If your video is not safe for YouTube, it may not be safe for us!

Technical requirements

Copyright: you must either be the copyright owner, or have permission from the copyright owner to licence use of the video by us on the Fetishistas site. Any accompanying music soundtrack/s must also be cleared by you for the same use.

Hosting: We prefer to embed from your YouTube, Vimeo or a similar hosting site. If this is not possible, we may ask you to supply a file in a suitable format that we can upload to — and host from — our own YouTube site.

Additional usage: With your permission, we would like the option to show your video on associated websites and social media pages. You can approve or decline this option on the separate Video Licensing Form that we will ask you to complete if we accept your video for inclusion.

Resolution: Widescreen, full 1080p is preferred. 720p may also be accepted.

Duration: Minimum 1 min 30 sec; max 5 min. Exceptions may be made at our discretion.

Video production notes:

If we accept your video, we will ask you to supply a short text of between 50 and 100 words to accompany the video. This can be used as a general artistic mission statement and/or to highlight specific aspects of the production.

Video production credits: We will also ask you to supply a list of production credits and links.
