Charmskool Showroom opens in London just in time for Valentine’s
Charmskool Showroom, the first permanent retail venue for avant garde and erotic specialist Charmskool, has its soft launch in East London on Wednesday February 12, just in time for Valentine’s Weekend. We find out from Charmskool chief Alexandra Houston what to expect from the initial opening and the longer term plans for the premises.

Following years of successful pop-ups, including collaborations with sister business Le Boutique Bazaar, this 1,400 sq ft space promises a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for those seeking innovative, design-led fetishwear, lingerie and accessories.
Located on Cable Street, London E1 near Shadwell Station and not too far from Brick Lane and Shoreditch, the showroom has been designed not just as a retail space, but also as a community hub.
Customers can browse curated collections in a relaxed environment, enjoy a cup of tea, and shop alongside friends or partners. For those looking for something truly special, bespoke personal shopping services and private appointments will be available.
A space for creativity and connection
Beyond retail, Charmskool Showroom will double as a versatile event space, hosting workshops and masterclasses, sample sales, photoshoots and product launches.
The Showroom’s Soft Launch Weekend, running until Sunday February 16, will give visitors an exclusive first look at the showroom — just in time to secure last-minute outfits and gifts ahead of Valentine’s Weekend.

The Vision Behind Charmskool
Charmskool is the brainchild of Alexandra Houston, an industry veteran with over 15 years of retail experience at Selfridges, Depop and Christian Louboutin, and creator, in partnership with Torture Garden, of the internationally renowned Le Boutique Bazaar pop-up.
Joining her is marketing manager Rebecca, formerly of Playful Promises, where she played a key role in transforming the lingerie brand into a household name. Together, they are dedicated to scouting, developing, and championing the most exciting creative kink talent — both online and offline.
A new chapter for Charmskool
Often described as ‘the cooler & kinkier version of Etsy’, Charmskool’s online shop showcases a carefully curated selection of handmade, sustainably produced products from small businesses worldwide, spanning fetishwear, erotic art, handmade toys and bold accessories.
With the launch of its Showroom, Charmskool is bridging the gap between its successful online marketplace and pop-up events. A full-on official launch event at the showroom is promised to follow on not too long after the Soft Launch Weekend.
Charmskool Showroom is located at:
111 Railway Arches, Cable Street, London E1 2LY. Nearest station, Shadwell, is served by London Overground and DLR.
