Inner Sanctum celebrates
opening its new Berlin store.
Berliners preparing for the Wasteland Berlin party on October 4 were offered an unexpected ‘extra’ the day before, when Inner Sanctum hosted a party to launch its new Berlin store
“Stella deserves a lot of credit,” adds Max, “because without her and her friend I would never have been able to open a second store.”
Max, whose headquarters are in Hamburg, says he’s looking forward to being in Berlin himself for around half of every month. His reasons for opening in the German capital?
“Berlin is a strong place for the German fetish scene and for nice huge parties. Also, because there are already many latex shops Berlin, the city is interesting for kinky people from all over the world.”
One unexpected treat for many was that the owner/designer of Berlin label Très Bonjour, Vio — who might have been considered a rival — turned up for a stint on the turntables. “We are good friends and wanted to show that we could make something great together,” Max explains.
