Pandora Deluxe adds more styles to Fusion Collection
Launched in Berlin in June, the new Fusion Collection from Pandora Deluxe takes decorative styling to a new level with its sophisticated blend of latex and chainmaille. Several additional Fusion designs – all featured here – have just made their catwalk debut at November’s Dominatrix weekend. Banner picture: Luci Alice
Pandora Deluxe’s expanded 2014 Fusion Collection, shown at the Dominatrix party in Holland on November 8, is the fulfillment of an earlier promise to The Fetishistas to complete the label with a small collection of “very high end” pieces that would “get a lot of attention on the catwalks and shift people’s perceptions”.
This certainly seemed to hold true when the first Fusion garments were debuted at the German Fetish Ball in June this year, to coincide with the launch of the new Pandora Deluxe website.
The Fusion Collection has now been expanded with the addition of several new designs that will make their debut on the Dominatrix catwalk, worn by some of Europe’s premier fetish models.
Our gallery focuses on these newest additions, photographed by Luci Alice, Belinda Bärtzner, Bommi and Mew-Chiel, and modelled here by Dani Divine, Lara Aimée, Laurel Fatal, Romanie Smith and Shelly d’Inferno.
The big secret label-owner Magdalena Chapman (aka Mags) revealed in Berlin was the new collection’s striking and innovative blend of latex and chainmaille — the signature design feature she had been developing for almost a year prior to that.
Precise tailoring, elaborate chainmaille accents, and accessories painstakingly crafted from iridescent scales combine in Fusion styles to offer a fetish-wear feast of rippling texture and light.
Says Mags: “Latex is already so bold, so sensual and light-catching, so when adding a new material, my challenge was to live up to that.
“Chainmaille* is amazing; it glitters like water but it’s also highly structured; it has these elements of intricacy and sensuality but also strength and brutality. This is a fierce collection for women who understand their power.
“We’re really excited to be showing these new designs at Dominatrix. We always aim to bring the scene something new.”
The label previously launched its Spellbound Collection at the same event. Those well-received designs now become the mid-range offering of this young, ascending start of the London latex fashion scene.
Mags is aware that Fusion styles, with higher pricing reflecting their labour-intensive production, will be beyond the budgets of some latex fashion fans.
But looking at the gorgeous decorative elements she has incorporated, we reckon you can definitely see where your money’s going!

Fashion footnote: the ‘maille’ spelling for chainmaille has now been widely adopted in craft circles to distinguish modern decorative jewellery from the knitted armour that medieval knights sloshed around in.
