DeMask website relaunch: another milestone in Dutch label’s revival.
The DeMask website — the online showcase for the famous Amsterdam-based fetish manufacturer and retailer — has just been relaunched after a total redesign.
Simple navigation make it easy to find clothing items under the main category headings — Her, His and Unicorns (items for the crossdressing market) — and to locate other products under Head, Accessories & Gifts, and Toys menus.
The home page provides a taste of what’s inside the DeMask website with selected items previewed under the headings Featured Products, Latest Products and Best Sellers.
Anther feature of the site is an About Us section which includes a link to last November’s Fetishistas cover interview with DeMask founder Steve English, as well as a potted bio of current owners Anton and Louva.
Anyone who has only ever encountered glued rubber clothing might well be intrigued by the footage on this page showing rubber being stitched — DeMask being one of few labels still using this technique on some styles.
Last but not least, a glance at the Boutiques & Outlets menu category will quickly indicate that the label is continuing to expand its inventory of wholly-owned shops and franchised outlets.
In addition to the Paris franchise launched earlier this year, the DeMask website also lists the recently added Dudea shop in Hamburg, bringing the company’s total number of bricks-and-mortar outlets to seven.
