If you’re looking for a fetishy Christmas or New Year’s gift that won’t bust the bank, a kinky calendar is always worth considering.
Very few genuine fetish calendars are published in any given year. Plus, they’re usually produced in relatively low numbers, and the images are generally printed on nice paper at about twice the size of those you find in fetish books and magazines.
All this gives them a value beyond the mere 12 months in which they can (if you wish) perform the function of confirming the date in a visually attractive way.
The best of the bunch are definitely quite collectible —
JUNE IN THE JUNGLE: Latex-loving Sarathustra waiting to pounce midway through the Your Fetish Year 2016 calendar
Your Fetish Year 2016 is very much at the quality end of offerings from genuine scene people.
The work of German model/retoucher Sarathustra von Lichtenstein and her photographer partner blende666 will already be familiar to many Fetishistas fans as the subject of our August 2015 cover story.
The couple are also well-known faces around the big international fetish events in Germany and Holland, where Sarathustra is usually on the catwalk and blende666 often keeps me company in the photography pit at the end of it.
Their imagery employs lots of latex and heels, but also leather and steel, and they specialise in highly produced artwork ranging from tasteful fetish fashion/glamour to moodier pieces tinged with gothic darkness.
Your Fetish Year 2016 selects exclusively from the latex fashion side of their oeuvre, with a gorgeous A3-size image for each month of the year (on 12 separate, glossy art-paper leaves) plus a cover shot and an endpage image making 14 pictures in all. Honestly, what’s not to like?
The ‘Powered by YourFetishWorld.de’ in the heading is a nod to the German online fetish retailer credited with supplying all the outfits depicted therein.
You can buy Your Fetish Year 2016 from Your Fetish World or direct from the couple’s own Dawanda online shop which also stocks all their individual art prints.
The basic price from either outlet is €24.90 plus shipping, and both sites are fully set up to mail to customers inside or outside the EU.
