Unleashed celebrates its 5th Anniversary with May party.
Unleashed, Amsterdam’s fetish dance party, returns to its roots for its Fifth Anniversary celebrations this May, after a year in which it hosted events in half a dozen different clubbing capitals. Tony Mitchell discovers what’s on the agenda for its birthday bash. On Saturday May 21 Unleashed will mark its birthday with a ‘mega fetish dance event’ at The Box Amsterdam. Partygoers are promised ‘a unique vibe, euphoric atmosphere, and striking visuals and décor’.
Unleashed parties fuse gay and straight in a playful, attractive and diverse crowd that includes fetish enthusiasts, clubbers and ravers, BDSM folk, swingers, goths and cybers, sexy party people and everyone in between.
They are aimed at an audience looking for ‘fetish fantasies in complete freedom, accompanied by a hi-octane festive spirit’.
Since its inception, Unleashed has been attracting increasing numbers of fetish lovers and partygoers to participate in extravagant productions that combine fetish chic with dance culture.
The organising team mixes people from various backgrounds in the fetish, music, and dance scenes, bringing to the table a combination of knowledge and skills that give Unleashed its unique character.
Each event sets out to create a ‘completely new, never-before-seen spectacle’. And for this special occasion, a ‘bigger than ever’ fetish spectacular is planned.
Appearances already confirmed for May 21 include a fashion show from Berlin’s legendary Fantastic Rubber with a model line-up that includes Fetishistas cover star Dutch Dame and other well-known catwalk favourites.

Also on the bill are the UK’s famous Fuel Girls. Starring Naomi French, Sasha Flexy and Yusura Circus, the Fuel Girls will be showcasing their kick-ass, ultra-sexy, fire-breathing, rock ’n’ roll, aerial, spark and pyro talents in no less than seven performances throughout the evening.
Other acts are currently in the process of being confirmed.
Previous Unleashed events have featured fashion shows by the likes of Tatjana Warnecke, Cyberesque, Lovely Latex, Torture Garden Clothing, Lady Oops, Coco Late Latex, Fantastic Rubber and Savage Wear.
There have been performances by Marco Punk, Sister Sinister, Elegy Ellem, Vanadio, Brigitte More, Aurora Galore, Mistress Absolute, Rachael Vee, Lara Aimée, HayDee Sparks, Yusura Circus, Sasha Flexy, Nina de Lianin and many more.

In 2015, having established itself in Amsterdam, the rapidly growing Unleashed took its partying style on a tour of five world party capitals — Amsterdam, Stockholm, Tel Aviv, Berlin, and Madrid.
For its fifth anniversary, the event returns to the city of Amsterdam where it all started. And The Fetishistas will be there on May 21 to witness what promises to be a triumphal homecoming!
Over The Box’s two dancefloors, Unleashed’s high-energy DJs will be serving up the very best of Minimal, Hard House, Progressive, Techno, Electro and Industrial sounds.

Other spaces to experience at the venue include ‘lustful lounges’ and a ‘maze of seduction’ plus entertainment equipment and play areas, a smokers’ lounge and a snack bar. The venue also offers lockers, a changing area and parking.
The dresscode embraces leather, rubber, pvc, lingerie, crossdress, mini bikini, metal, elegant (complete dark suit), fetish-glam, medical, fetish-goth, burlesque, body art, sensual, corsets, incognito masks, bondage, erotic dark, transformation, drag, cyber, fantasy, uniform and fetish steam-punk. Street clothes are not permitted.
The event also has a policy of not admitting un- accompanied people. This is not discrimination against single men (as practised by some ‘adult’ clubs) but a rule designed to ensure that everyone, male or female, arrives with at least one other person.
This is done, say the organisers, so that “every guest is responsible for the person they arrive with”, and in order to “help maintain a safe, playful, and responsibly hedonistic playspace”.
Tickets for the Unleashed 5th Anniversary Party on May 21 cost €34 plus fee in advance, or €40 on the door at The Box, Mekongweg 5, 1043 AE Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Advance tickets can be purchased online via the event website and from the following Amsterdam adult and fetish shops: DeMask, Mr.B, Female & Partners, Black Body, Underground Fetish and Diabolo; plus Subliem in Rotterdam and Wow in Eindhoven.
Tickets are also on sale in over 450 Primera shops throughout the Netherlands.
