CRASH LANDING: Latex-clad Jean Bardot stars in Domina, Justin Staggs’ wry sci-fi short
Fetishistas video section now live with mini-masterpieces.
The Fetishistas Video Section has just launched with a selection of fetish-orientated short films and videos drawn from all the good stuff that’s currently out there.
Top Swedish fetish model Psylocke takes the reins in a pony play vignette from Gothenburg kinksters A Thing For Rubber.
Glamorous Swedish kinksters are also the focus of Simon Mogren’s footage from this year’s Stockholm Pride Parade.
Two very different styles of fetish-related music video are also represented in our launch collection.
One is built around British composer Noko’s theme song for Darren Cavanagh’s upcoming full-length documentary film Ex-Dominatrix: A True Story.
The other is a montage-style promo video created by German photographer/videographer Alexander Horn for legendary San Francisco punk band NOFX.
The new Fetishistas Video Section has been designed to be a little different from other sections of the site, with a more minimalist layout style that may look familiar to users of YouTube or Vimeo.
Each video chosen for the section is given its own dedicated page, and the video itself sits at the top of the page, making it easy to find and easy to view.
Immediately beneath the video, each page shows just the title and principal credits.
Those who want further information can click on two dropdown panels which expand to offer, respectively, a short text about the work, and a full list of production credit with links to individual participants.
And that’s it — clean, clear, simple layouts that focus on each page’s principal purpose: allowing you to enjoy the videos
And to do that, we’d like to enlist your help!
Whether you’re a video/film-maker with work you’d like to showcase, or a fetish video buff keen to share a favourite piece with others who’d appreciate it, we invite you to send us your proposals for inclusion.
If you’re suggesting a video that you created or participated in, please provide the basic details using the Video Submission Form at the bottom of our page explaining How To Submit A Video.
If you’re suggesting a video in which you have no personal involvement, but you think is great and deserves to be included in the collection, drop us a line to tip us off about it here. If we use it, we’ll credit you with recommending it (if you want us to!).
Please note: we are looking essentially for short-form films and videos. Nominally, that means pieces of up to five minutes duration — although we will make exceptions for longer works where warranted.
We also want work that has artistic merit: we are not looking for porn-fests, be they short-form or feature-length. A starting point for judging this, if you’re not sure, would be: is it safe for YouTube?
In fact, our preference is for videos that are already hosted on YouTube or a similar service like Vimeo. If a video is not already hosted on such a site, we may still be able to showcase it in The Fetishistas Video Section, but it’s not guaranteed.
