London Fetish Weekend 2015 preview cont’d.
With many brands offering ‘on the day’ discounts, LBB provides a great opportunity to meet designers, see the garments in person, and make a purchase or pre-order for any special night out (or in).
Dresscode is optional but dressing-up is encouraged and you might be surprised how much latex you’ll see being worn at this Sunday afternoon shopathon.
Times: 1pm – 7pm. Tickets: £5 advance, £7 door.
Also taking place on the afternoon of SUNDAY OCTOBER 4, and leaving from Le Boutique Bizarre at McQueen, is the Kinky ‘Kodak Moments’ Bus Tour.
This two-hour tour, on an original red Routemaster London bus (with its own bar!), will take in four London landmarks before dropping passengers off at the London Fetish Weekend 2015 Closing Play Party at a venue not far from the tour’s starting point.
Places on the tour are, naturally, limited by the seating capacity of the bus.
Times: 4pm – 6pm. Tickets: £20 advance (including a free onboard glass of bubbly, and water)
A third daytime event — Wicked Workshops — also takes place throughout the afternoon of SUNDAY OCTOBER 4, starting at noon.
Taking over LAM’s usual Revolution Bar venue on Leadenhall, a program of five educational workshops will be on offer in the venue’s Vault and sub-basement.
The weekend’s resident rope expert will be leading intermediate to advanced workshops for those seeking to enhance their rope repertoire.
The remaining workshops are aimed at beginner to intermediate users seeking a comprehensive understanding of the health and safety, practices, aftercare and risks associated with these play areas.
They will mix structured learning and supervised practical sessions.
Times of individual Wicked Workshop sessions and ticket prices are as follows:
1pm – 2:30pm Bondage Basics demonstration and practical session (speaker TBA, sub-basement).
Tickets: £10.
3pm – 5pm Yoroi-Nicholas Workshop 2 (Vault). Tickets: £25pp.
3pm – 4:30pm Impact Play demonstration and practical session (speaker TBA, sub-basement).
Tickets £10.
5pm – 6:30pm Getting To The Point: demonstration and practical session on playing with sharp objects, with Cosmic1 (sub-basement).
Tickets: £10.
Final event of London Fetish Weekend 2015 is The End is Nigh Play Party, also at Revolution Bar, directly after the Workshops.
It offers the chance to finish off your LFW visit with a mix of drinks, play and chat with friends old and new.
The ground floor of the venue provides an ample seating and drinking area, with chill-out tunes for those seeking to relax and wind down.
The basement level will featured the atmospheric safety deposit box and cell room, eminently suitable for a few souvenir snaps at the end of the weekend.
The Vault room with its two suspension frames is reserved for bondage. The sub-basement, where the majority of play happens, will offer a full range of dungeon furniture to make the last (official) chance to play during LFW 2015 a memorable one.
Times: 7.30pm – 10.30pm. Tickets: £7.50 advance, £10 door, £5 with workshop ticket.
Weekend Passes: A limited number of weekend tickets is available, offering savings if you plan to attend all the events on the days specified.
All Events Weekend Pass: £86; Friday + Saturday Pass: £60; Saturday + Sunday Pass: £60.
Note that the All Events and Saturday + Sunday passes for London Fetish Weekend 2015 do not include admission to the Sunday Workshops, which must be booked separately.
