Miley Cyrus latex and other novel work by Robin Archer
Miley Cyrus latex pictures are not exactly the world’s most unlikely media phenomenon any more. But we at The Fetishistas think she at least deserves credit for the amount of fun she seems to be having in our favourite fetish fabric.
Her long-sleeved, turtle-neck, pink latex minidress featured inflatable letters spelling out ‘Do It’ — a reference to the title of her single Dooo It! from her latest music project Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.
And we’re pleased to say the dress was a fine piece of British creativity — the product of a collaboration between House of Harlot and fashion designer Henry Holland, the man behind House of Holland.
During the aftershow press room session for which she wore the outfit, Miley was snapped distributing avocados to journalists (above right). There were also rumours that she also passed some kind of funny cigarette around. Honestly, what’s she like?
And speaking of Harlot collaborations, we’ve just heard that the label is likely to be returning to the Netherlands for another Dominatrix fashion show in November.
Dominatrix promoter Reinier More is known to be a big fan of the brand, and says November’s expected line-up — Harlot plus Brigitte More, Inner Sanctum, Dayne Henderson, HW-Design and Japanese label Kurage — would be his “dream team”.
Our final piece of (slightly more left-field) House of Harlot news concerns the launch of owner Robin Archer’s second career — as a novelist.
The designer has just had his first book, A Flame In The Water, published on Amazon Kindle. It’s a post-apocalyptic ghost story, and — promises the author — only the first in a whole series featuring protagonist Bobby Wells.
“It’s a departure for me, says Robin, “though I have always dabbled with creative composition. But this is the real deal! And only Book One…
Well nobody’s perfect. But according to our literary correspondent, who tucked into the first few chapters over the weekend, despite this apparent weakness, Archer’s debut novel has “merit for sure” and “definitely deserves a review”. So we might even give it one.
The Kindle edition of A Flame In The Water costs $3.14 from Amazon.com (below).
