The German Fetish Ball itself is the headline event of the long GFB weekend and is one of the most popular parties for fetishists and BDSM enthusiasts from around the world. After resuming post-covid, the Ball temporarily relocated in 2022 to another venue before returning in 2023 to the familiar and much-loved Spindler & Klatt on the banks of the River Spree.

The Ball is of course famous for its fetish fashion shows, which — along with the fashion focus of the two-day German Fetish Fair  — cement the whole weekend’s reputation as the world’s most prestigious festival of fetish style. This year’s shows will take place in a new dedicated show hall with more space, better views and, apparently, more drama.

This year’s Mistress of Ceremonies will be the legendary Jean Bardot, famous among other things for fronting the annual Rubber Ball USA in Minneapolis as well as for hosting The Jean Bardot Show.

An international fetish crowd comes together here to celebrate with the models and performers who, just moments before, were heating up the catwalk and stages. The Ball’s DJs will spin everything from electro and house to ’80s hits and gothic sounds — something for every taste. And later on, the venue’s outdoor riverside terrace bar provides an unrivalled spot from which to watch the sun rise over the Spree early on Sunday morning.

Providing the 2025 Ball’s international fashion shows will be Ada Zanditon’s Ada Zanditon Couture (UK), Alyssa Norman’s Blacklickorish Latex (USA), Myriel Monastic’s lx.nsty (Barcelona), Lara Aimée’s Night Edge (NL) and Thyade’s Wild Shine Asylum (Switzerland)

In addition, there will be stage performances by aerialist duo monalaura and contortionist Rosa Lisa. Other diversions on offer include a Playroom, GFB Photo Booth run by artveo, and official roving event photography by Heinrich von Schimmer.

Those who stay late at the German Fetish Ball usually miss breakfast at their hotel. Others leave on Sunday and usually have to check out by noon, even if their flight is a much later on. This brunch is an alternative way to end the weekend. The brunch buffet is a walk-in affair (no table reservations necessary), and after the buffet closes at 14:30, the à la carte menu available through the day continues to be on offer for the latest of late risers.
