May Rubber Cult stages cover up by Sebastian Cauchos.
May Rubber Cult was treated to a memorable demonstration of modesty last Saturday (30) when fetish fashion’s prince of propriety, Sebastian Cauchos, put a selection of his masked and veiled latex outfits on the club’s stage.
It gave many British fans their first close look at Cauchos’ distinctive designs, in which latex versions of the hijab play a colourful and, for some, controversial role.
Models clad in various degrees of disguise for the Cauchos show were Ana Mantis, Kataxenna Kova, Rebecca Allsop, Tarja Noponen, Vea Luz, Zara DuRose and — perhaps the biggest surprise of the evening — Mad Alan.
There were lots of great costumes in the audience too, including the new EctoMorph latex sported by sisters Jazzy and Ruby King (left and right respectively in our top banner), better known as hot X Factor performers Blonde Electra.
The sisters were at Shillibeers with EctoMorph’s Krystina Kitsis, who was proudly showing off her newly introduced red laser-cut lace trim on a corset sported by Ruby.
It was the first time at the event for Mags, who was dressed subversively in a black minidress she’d made especially for the evening with the matt side of the rubber on the outside.
We gather she was well impressed by the night and is now in the process of discussing putting on a Pandora Deluxe show at a future Rubber Cult.

The evening also featured a cabaret performance by Bambi Blue and two shows by the redoubtable Marnie Scarlet.
