CINEMA STARS, L-R: Perish, Stryker-Vawn and Rebecca are all performing at Pompano Beach this Halloween

FF’s Halloween Fetish Ball: not your normal beach party

Fetish Factory’s legendary Halloween Fetish Ball returns to Pompano Beach’s Club Cinema venue for this year’s big one on October 31. With its relaxed dresscode, it’s the perfect opportunity for the curious to see what Florida fetish partying is all about

Fetish Factory, Florida’s fetish party pioneers, are looking forward to hosting one of the most highly-anticipated US fetish events of the year at the end of October.

Their Halloween Fetish Ball takes place this year on Halloween night itself —  Friday October 31 — at Club Cinema in Florida’s Pompano Beach, just up the coast from FF’s Fort Lauderdale HQ.

Fetish Factory have promised to transform the huge space into “the most elaborately decorated fetish nightclub you’ve ever seen”, and the party will feature performances from some of fetish’s finest, such as FF party stalwart Rebecca, celebrity male model Perish and performance duo Stryker-Vawn.

Familiar to anyone who attended Fetish Factory’s 2005 or 2006 Halloween parties, Cinema is a massive venue, as befits the sizable event this party has become. With previous attendances approaching the 3,000 mark, it can justifiably claim to be the biggest fetish event of the year in Florida.

The 2005 party sticks in a lot of people’s minds not only because it was the first at Cinema but because of the havoc wreaked by Hurricane Wilma. The massive storm prevented it being held as originally scheduled at Revolution, FF’s popular downtown Ft Lauderdale venue. But instead of outright cancellation, it was moved to Club Cinema in mid-November, and people showed up in record numbers to enjoy a party MC’d by Masuimi Max.

The event returned to Club Cinema in 2006 without the nuisance of a hurricane. This time, a record turnout of nearly 3,000 people saw Gen of the Society of Genitorture MC a night that included performances by Emily Marilyn and the Terror Twins.

Atlanta’s globetrotting party animal Kip was host in 2007 when the annual event returned to Revolution, taking over both the inside and outside areas to create a party with “incredible space and energy”.

Fetish Factory are of course famous for their pioneering of strict fetish dresscode events in the European style — a bold policy for a US promoter, but one which has undoubtedly paid off. At their Halloween Fetish Ball, however, they make a once-a-year exception and also allow in people dressed in Halloween masquerade and sexy costumes.

This creates the perfect once-a-year opportunity for the curious to discover what fetish partying is all about without having to meet the full fetish dresscode  of FF’s other events. Meanwhile, however, those who are looking for a fetish outfit for Halloween will want to know there’s a latex clothing sale at the FF store and online shop, with 10 percent off all latex until Sunday October 19.

No FF event would be complete without Rebecca, who has been organising shows for Fetish Factory from the very beginning

Our galleries on the right give a flavour of the kind of people and performances you can expect to encounter at this year’s event. Our gallery images are a small selection from FF’s Halloween Ball Slideshow which can be viewed online in its entirety — see link in the info panel beneath the thumbnails. We’ve also provided links there to a selection of classic video clips from previous FF events.

As for this year’s performers, no FF event would be complete without an appearance by Rebecca, who has been organising shows for Fetish Factory from the very beginning. Her signature performances include the Milk show, the Rubber Maid Sponge-bath show, and the naughty medical/religious shows she has performed on stage with RubberDoll.

Joining Rebecca on stage this Halloween will be Perish, one of the foremost male models on the scene and certainly one of its most recognisable faces. He has walked the runway in countless fetish fashion shows for FF and others, but this Halloween will see his first solo show for the FF crowd.

In addition to the shows by Rebecca and Perish, duo Stryker-Vawn will bring their uniquely dark style — a combination of original soundtrack material with “blistering and sultry” stage performance — to this year’s event, promising to “take you to places you thought you should not ever venture”.

Advance tickets for the Halloween Fetish Ball are still available at $20 both online and from the store. Tickets on the door will cost $25. For those who want local accommodation, special room rates ($85 a night at time of writing) have been negotiated at the Pompano Beach Days Inn, less than a mile from the venue. Hotels in the area always get fully booked over Halloween weekend so it’s advisable to reserve without delay.

This year’s Halloween Ball Presenting Sponsor is FetishMovies.com — well known for supporting fetish events around the world. The event’s other sponsors are raoentertainment.com, demask.com, shrinestore.com, xcitement.com, topcosales.us and pjur.com.
